Come experience the best of both worlds – training in an academic institution and training in a rural Federally Qualified Health Center!
At KU-CHC/SEK Rural Family Medicine Residency, our curriculum is designed to provide residents with comprehensive rural family medicine training with the flexibility to customize their education so that they can practice in the rural setting they desire. Our community provides an extensive patient case mix so residents will experience the full spectrum of family medicine. Overall, our faculty works with and teach our residents to be competent, confident, and caring family physicians no matter what area of rural family medicine interests them.
